Yeah 30!!!!

Well so much for the spectator thing with baseball. Just when I think I am out they suck me back in. So John who is Mason's coach, came over and asked if I would help out with the team. So being the nice guy that I am I said yes. So now I am one of Mason's baseball coaches. Well let me tell you we are not very good. We have our moments, but they are few and far between.

So yesterday I turned 30 years old. I got a MP3 player and some clothes. We had a good day. I worked in the morning. Then we went to a movie and dinner. We went to Panera, our favorite place to eat. Then we went and saw Night at the Museum 2. The dinner was great and the movie was better. So I had a good birthday. No wait Robyn did it for me, so it was AWESOME. I love you dear.

Softball is in full swing. I am having so much fun this year. I feel better after the games, because of the weight I have lost. By the way I am down to 245 pounds. It is fantastic. Robyn is being great about my softball playing. I am also playing mountain top league so that I can get better. So she is being great about it. I love to play and makes me feel good.

So that's all for now. We are going to Baltimore, to see the inner harbor this weekend coming up. It will be great to get away. Spend some time with Robyn and Mason, and not have to be some where at a certain time.

Interesting......

So the spring season has started here in Ebensburg. Mason has started baseball, he is excited about it. His new team is called Felix Construction. He knows a couple of kids on the team. I think he has come a long way since last season. The couple of times I have seen him practice, he looks good. The bummer is that with the 15 seasons, and weather changes here in Ebensburg, we have had practices cancelled. He is bummed every time it is cancelled. We went to the flea market this weekend and found a bat for him. He can't wait to use it. I am a spectator this year. I told Mason that I just wanted to sit and enjoy his season. On my own note I didn't have fun last season being a head coach. I think that he saw that, and understands.

Now softball has started for me. We played our first game yesterday and got demolished. The team we played was very good, and we haven't played in a game with each other yet this season. We have had practices, but you can not simulate a game experience. We will get better, I know we will. We changed our name this season. We are now called the Co"BRH"s Brewzerz.

Sad times

I have had a hard time, the last couple of days. My grandmother passed away. Besides my mother and father, she raised me. I don't think that I have a great memory, that doesn't include her. I have gotten so much support from family members this last week. Also friends have come through.

I have to thank Robyn's family. Mom Mom, Aunt Gwen, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Bud, Zack, and Robyn's parents have been great. I am so grateful for their thoughts and well wishes. My friends have been supportive. Robyn and Mason have been fantastic. I have not been the best person to live with lately because of my mood. Being down and out of it sometimes.

I had a long weekend. First we have had a tournament scheduled for awhile. My softball team set it up in February. Then Wednesday the 25th of March my dad calls me and tells me my gram is in the hospital. She was having problems with her gallbladder. They were going to have to take it out. So the 26th comes and my dad calls and gives me the news of her passing. I was in shock and crying at the same time. I was in the middle of my work day, but wanted so bad to be home. I finished my route because there really was nothing I could do. That was a hard day. I went down to my dads after work to see everyone. Saturday I had work again, but after work I had the first day of the tournament. It was a good distraction from life at that moment. The tournament went pretty good. We had a good turn out and teams said they had a good time. I couldn't stay all day on Sunday.

Now came the viewing. My gram looked good, they did a nice job at Stevens Mortuary. I saw family and friends that I have not seen in awhile. Mason looked good in his sweater and pants. Robyn looked beautiful in her outfit.

I have had the weekend from HE"Double Hockey Sticks".....LOL!!!!! A little joke to lighten the mood. But as I said before my family and friends helped.

I was talking to Robyn the other night and she said she remembers when I used to go to Hills. I would always ask my gram to buy me a matchbox car. If she said no I would go, with a pout face "Please Gram Please." then I would usually get it. That memory made me laugh. I also remember when my friend Jesse and I would go out somewhere and my gram would always ask if I needed money. Or when I slept over at her house, she would set up a little mattress by her and my grandfathers bed. Then I would get up and go to church with them. Then we would go out to breakfast. I have a million more just like these.

I will never forget you gram, ever. I love you and miss you. I am not the only one that feels that way.

Ummmm WOW!!!!!

Lets see 7 years ago I made a great decision in my life. I married Robyn Shrift. She has made me very happy in my life. I have gotten a great friend. I have spent the last 10 years with a wonderful woman. We watch shows together. We watch football together. She makes me feel alive. I don't know what I would do without her. We have a wonderful child together.

Softball has begun. I am so happy. I think the team will be good enough to win the Shanassy this season. We brought over some good players. I have dropped some weight and feel better. I am swinging the bat better. My fielding has gotten a little better, because I can bend better. I feel I am in a little better shape.

Now I know round is a shape. But I feel better looking like a stick. So I look like a rectangle. LOL!!!!! I have lost a lot of weight since February of last year. Robyn is a big reason for that. She makes me lunches and dinners. She says it is all me, but I know she knows she has a big hand in it.

So just to end this on our special day,

I LOVE YOU ROBYN, and ALWAYS WILL!!!!!!!

Hi.....Hello

So I am back. It has been awhile. Yes my 7 year anniversary is on March 23. I can't believe we have been married that long. Well I am down to 266 pounds in 16 weeks. I feel great. People are commenting that I look good also. So not much other than that is going on. Yesterday my wonderful van broke down again. I am so tired of taking that thing in to get repaired. I know it is part of the delivery job, but come on. So I got the verdict today it is something to do with the transmission. I had it rebuilt in September. So the one good thing is it, is under warranty. So hopefully it will be taken care of. Also softball has started. I am happy. I know it wears on Robyn, when I am in softball mode. She takes it in stride, and she knows that I like to play. Softball replaces the competitiveness that I lost when I was done with football. We have been walking alot lately. It has been helping me lose weight. Softball will also help. We have a tournament coming up at the end of the month. I am excited for that. Mason has been doing great in basketball, I think he is having alot of fun.

It's been awhile.

Well it's been awhile. There has been a lot going on since my last post. The Steelers won there 6th Super Bowl title. They beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23. It was awesome, Robyn and I had a great time watching it. Also I am down 38 pounds and can't be happier. I weigh a whopping 269. I feel better and I think I look better. Robyn has been great with me for this. She has helped out so much. She makes me dinners and lunches. Next another softball season is starting. I am so happy. I can run and get some exercise. I think that will help me lose more weight. Valentines day has passed. Robyn and I had a good day. I got her 2 pounds of chocolate covered strawberries. Her favorite I must say. I also got her one and only favorite romantic movie. It is called Wicker Park. She has wanted a yoga mat for a while so I also got her that. All in all I have been having a great time.

Can you believe it?????

This is awesome. The Steelers back in the Super Bowl. This is the 7th time for the francise. They have won 5 of them. If they win this one they will be the first team to 6. I can not get over that I get to see them in the big game twice in my life time. I think the team is great and has a good chance to do it. They are playing the Arizona Cardinals. We will see what happens. I hope I am seeing the 6th win.

I don't think I say this enough.

I don't think that I tell my wife I love her, enough. She does so much for me and Mason. She cooks dinner, cleans the house and just is great. So many things are done by her. The stuff I like most, are she watches football with me. She is a big Steeler fan just like me. We can sit and talk. We can hang out with each other. We enjoy alot of the same things. We go to Cirque shows together. We go places we both enjoy. I also don't think I tell her how much I rely on her from day to day. She makes me lunches and dinners. She does things for me even though she sometimes complains. Though I think that she does it half the time to kid me. I can't thank her enough for all the things she does. But I am grateful none the less.
