This weekend in sports.

Well let me tell you about my weekend in sports. First I wanted to watch the Penn State-Iowa game on Sat. afternoon. Then Sun. I was so excited to watch my Pittsburgh Steelers at 4:15 pm. Well lets put it this way, I wasn't very happy with either one at the end of the weekend.
First Penn State laid an egg against Iowa. They left so many points on the field that it was ridiculous. What I mean by that is they had opportunities to score and came up empty, or only got three points. The game really came down to Clark there QB throwing a INT and Iowa marching down the field for a game winning FG. It was disappointing because Penn State was having a great year and now they have no chance for a National Title. Next the Steelers played the Indy Colts. Now this was a good game but the same thing happened. The Steelers left points on the field and Big Ben threw two picks. He is having trouble this year with a shoulder. I have no clue what kind of pain he is in, but his play is lacking this year. Right now that is hurting the Steelers. The problem is though they can't sit him because the injury won't heal with just a couple of weeks rest. So he plays through pain and you have to take the good with the bad. One more reason that I think they lost that game was that the Steelers were missing Lamar Woodley at LB. I think that this was overlooked by everyone. He puts on a lot of pressure with James Harrison and the Steelers were missing that. So all in all my sports weekend stunk!!!!!! A couple good things out of it though were the scores of the Pens-Islanders game. The Pens won 4-3 in a shoot-out. Also the Central Cambria boys football team beat Huntingdon 14-0. So at least two of my teams came through this weekend.
